I am a researcher for the National Research System in Mexico, adjunct professor at the Deparment of Philosophy at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, where I was recently Director of Academic Affairs and I am Chair of the Feminist Caucus and Social Media Editor for the American Society for Aesthetics. I work on Art and Politics and Feminist Studies.

I have been a member of various research projects at the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona, the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, where I was Visiting Professor in the Digital Art and Media Program, the Institute of Philosophical Research at UNAM, where I was Postdoctoral Fellow, and the Department of Philosophy at UNAM.

Currently, I am working on three research projects. One on art practices, political militancy, decolonial aesthetics and civil disobedience, another one on femicides, epistemic injustice and autonomy and finally a collective project that recently received a funding from the Jumex Foundation about the Mexican women artists networks during the end of the 70s and beginning of the 80s.

Most of my research enriches by the art practice and art history. For that reason, I enjoy working as an independent curator for many contemporary art museums and exhibition venues. I am currently co-curating an exhibition based on participatory art at the Laboratorio Arte Alameda in Mexico City and I’m collaborating with other artists for different independent art venues and adventures.
